Competition Terms & Conditions
1. Eligibility
• The competition is open to Cook Island residents aged 18 and above.
• Nominations are only valid if a nomination form is submitted via the official online form or in person at the Vodafone Parekura office.
• Employees, affiliates, and immediate family members of Vodafone are not eligible to win.
2. Entry Requirements
• To enter, nominators must submit the online form with complete and accurate information by the closing date.
• Each participant may submit one nomination only.
3. Competition Period
• The competition begins on Thursday 20 November and ends at 12.00PM midday on Friday 5 December.
• Nominations submitted after the closing date will not be considered.
4. Judging Criteria
• Entries will be reviewed by an internal Vodafone committee.
• All decisions made by the judging panel are final.
5. Prize
• The prize consists of an Oppo A5 Smartphone and $500 worth of food vouchers
• The prize is non-transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash, products or services.
• Vodafone will deliver the prize to a residential address in Rarotonga. Transportation beyond Rarotonga will be at the cost of the nominator or winner.
6. Winner Announcement
• Vodafone will contact the successful nominator to arrange delivery details for the winner.
• If the nominator does not respond within 24 hours a new winner will be drawn.
• The winner will be announced on our Facebook page in December.
7. Participation in Video and Social Media Feature
• By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to participate in a short video and photo feature to be shared on the Vodafone Cook Islands Facebook page and possibly other social media channels.
• This may include images or footage of the winner receiving the hamper and may be accompanied by a story of why they were selected.
• Images and footage may be shared with local media outlets for promotional purposes.
8. Consent and Release
• By entering, the nominator confirms that they have the nominee's permission to share their information and story for the purposes of this competition.
• Both the nominator and nominee consent to the use of their names, images, and stories for promotional purposes in relation to the competition without additional compensation.
9. Privacy
• Personal information collected will only be used for the purposes of the competition, in line with Vodafone's Privacy Policy, and will not be shared with third parties without consent.
10. General Conditions
• Vodafone Cook Islands reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the competition if necessary, due to factors outside its control.
• Vodafone Cook Islands is not responsible for technical errors or lost entries.
• This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook or Instagram.
11. Acceptance of Terms
• By participating, nominators and nominees agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
